  • Hello Warriors! Happy Wednesday! This is just a quick check in for me to say hi. I've been working through some "stuff" recently, and haven't been focusing on anything else really. I just wanted to pop in and say hi and great job on keeping focused on your health and wellness! I Shall Return!! (Until then, keep up the…
  • Hello everyone! Welcome Dysmart!! :D Always great to widen the circle of support & encouragement. Quick check in before bed: Ate more veggie soup today! Win! Hearts: Hope your kilter is back where it belongs! :p Lost it: LOVE your little dancer! Hugs & HAPPY Friday!!
  • Checking in for the day. I haven't had any green veggies yet today, and I've had a very not clean day so far. Maybe I'll go snack on some spinach to make myself feel better ;) Keep up the great PROGRESS everyone B) <3
  • 1. Checking in: Check! 2. Something green: Check! I am very proud of myself today. I used my pressure cooker for the first time and made veggie soup with green lentils, yellow split peas, zucchini, yellow squash, artichokes, and carrots! It was even edible!! :p Happy Tuesday!
  • Hello Warriors! Great looking goals everyone! Love the positive vibes. Hearts, I definitely feel you with the getting back to basics. My goals for this week: 1. Check in here at least 4 times this week 2. Eat something green every day Have a great week working towards those goals everyone!
  • Great job ladies! Today was a double doctor day for me. I had my 2nd acupuncture treatment, but because I was laying face down the whole time, my lower back was really hurting when I got up. Spent the test of the night with the heating pad on. :( Oh well, now I know, face up from now on. Have a lovely weekend everyone! :)
  • This is me checking in! I have broiled geen beans & asparagus in the oven & long grain & wild rice on the stove. I even cut up some jicama to go with hummus. I think this counts as a clean meal! (minus a little for the olive oil on the veggies & butter in the rice) ;) Wtg Lost It! Getting some activity is better than none…
  • I just read the blog post by Mike Lee announcing the new partnership with Under Armour. I've never heard of them, but someone commented that they compete with Adidas. People are always afraid of change, and in corporate buyouts I think it's warranted. However, like Molly said, it's a free app, so we hope for the best and…
  • Hi Hearts! I don't think my bookmarks are working either on my phone. I bookmarked this thread, but when I clicked the star at the top of the group page it said I have no bookmarks. I've been out of the loop so long I didn't know their was a buyout. Who's taking over?
  • I'm late to the party as usual, but here I am! Checking in for the week so far. I have had 3 days in a row now that I haven't felt depressed, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the trend continues. I had a relaxing acupuncture treatment today, so I'm hoping to sleep a little better tonight. Great to see everyone making…
  • Hello everyone! This is me checking in. WTHeck?? I just wrote a whole long post & it got eaten by the internet! Oh well, my brilliance is mostly a figment of my imagination. Welcome back Meg!! Great job Molly!! See you all tomorrow!
  • OMG!!!! I just saw that I can get into the group through the app instead of having to go through the browser! I don't know when they did that, but I'm SOOO happy now!!
  • Hello Weekly Warriors! I've been MIA from this group for a long time, so it is wonderful to pop in and see my lovely friends & some new faces. I'm Jenn, and I have been an off & on MFP user since 2011. I've never deactivated my account, I just sort of go dark for a while when life gets crazy. Let's just say that the last 6…
  • Don't think that just because the scale pops up a little bit that you did something wrong. Weight can fluctuate dramatically from day to day and even from morning to evening because of things like how much water you've had to drink, how much sodium you've consumed, how much you've had to eat during the day, how much you…
  • I agree with Lisa--it takes time to see the effects of small changes in diet or routine. I think your focus on body fat is better than weight in your situation. When you get to the Lean phase, the focus is all about tone and making sure your diet is on point. Enjoy!
  • Three crunchy snacks with surprisingly low sodium: 1) Terra Sweet Potato Chips: 10mg sodium per 1 oz serving 2) Trader Joe's Quinoa & Black Bean Infused Tortilla Chips: 50mg per 1 oz serving 3) Trader Joe's Vacuum Fried Pineapple Chips: 0mg per 1/2 cup serving (these are pretty high in sugar of course w/ 21 grams per…
  • Hi Sam! I wanted to reply to your post because I have had similar questions about what the perfect ratio for me is as well. The first thing I did was just google the question about what the healthy ratio should be. If you are looking in the "primal diet" or "atkins" areas, you will see that they suggest high protein, low…
  • Just for Today: I will take a break to eat every 3 hours so I don't binge on the way home from work.
  • Just for today--I will make a healthier choice for dinner.
  • Thanks Kini! I did my first Fire 30/Stretch 10 yesterday, and it went pretty well. I just used my old Sketchers and they were okay for now. My shoulders are so sore though! Who knew all those punches would hurt so bad? I think I'm going to really like it once I get used to the pace and learn the moves. Happy Tuesday!
  • Just for today: I will embrace this lovely feeling of energy that has returned to me & do my first day of Turbo Fire!
  • Been off schedule since Thursday, so today I got back into CLX world and did Burn Intervals. My 18 year old niece almost quit halfway through, but I kept telling her to suck it up, and we both finished strong. It's kinda cool that I can get through that tough workout a little bit easier than a girl half my age and in way…

  • If it wasn't for LaLa, I totally would have caved for the warm bread. Thank you LaLaLove!
  • For the rest of the day, I will control my snacking. I just bought a big bag of spinach, and I will not be afraid to dig into it!
  • Just for today I will complete my weigh lifting video after work.
  • Just for today: I will allow myself to come home from work and rest because I've been pushing very hard for the last two weeks. However, I will still make sure not to over eat at dinner and keep my calories in the green.
  • I only have a few minutes left of my today, but even still: just for today I will remember to tell my future husband how much I appreciate his support in this journey.
  • Tonight was Week 2/Push 3. I got my 15 lb weights and used them on all the chest exercises and the sumo squat. My hands and my arms were jelly by the end. Followed up with a 15 minute swim to cool down. Everyone's doing a great job!!

  • Very cool! It's always good to know that weight is not the end all be all measurement of health and fitness. That's great that you have such good muscle mass. Congratulations!
