It seems like I overindulge on almonds about once a month. I get in a mode, usually on a less active night, where I just cannot stop eating them. I figure that is my body telling me I need something in them. It's not a great thing to do as they are fairly high in fat like you said, but I look at it this way...a year ago, I…

I've been making a similar soup for years, but I add 2 TB A-1 steack sauce, a 1/2 cup salsa, and some chili powder. It really gives it a kick. I also sometimes grill the chicken breast, which gives it more depth of flavor.

I actually lost weight when we went to Disney in June and "cheated" on my eating plan at least once a day. I brought protein bars, lots of bottled water, almonds and other snacks. Eating healthy at the counter service restaurants is difficult, but at the higher end restaurants is not too much of a problem. You can go…

I don't know the answer, but am in the same boat as you. I'm fine with my weight, but my BFP is approximately 24%, which I am not happy with. I have been wondering how I should be exercising with the same goals in mind you have, so thank you for posting!

I am now in maintenance, but lost 52 pounds while on the 5&1 and 4&2 in about 4 months. (I had to transition to 4&2 because of my workouts.) And I have lost another 8 pounds since. It is a great program, but don't cheat if you want to see the optimum results. Also try to incorporate some exercise as soon as you are able.…

I add half a scoop of Gold Standard Whey Protein and 2 TB PB2 to my plain 3/4 cup Chobani or Fage Greek yogurt. I eat this almost every day. 34g protein to just 13-14g carbs and only 200-210 kcal and 3g fat. Plus, it's delicious, especially if you add in a couple of Splendas or Truvias, whichever is your choice.

Try a bar with higher protein content than cereal bars--they will stick with you much longer. I took several with me on a recent business trip. I also took freeze dried fruit.

I mix PB2 and vanilla protein powder in my plain nonfat Fage and I actually like it better than the ones with Goji fruit, plus I get more protein and less sugar! Fage is definitely my favorite Greek yogurt and I think I've tried them all. I use it in recipes as well.

I have the same problem! I'm in the office 50 hours a week and spend most of my evenings runnings kids around everywhere. I need high protein / lower carb snacks I can keep in my car.

I am experiencing the same thing. I have lost just shy of 60 pounds since the beginning of spring and I am constantly cold. I did some research on it and found that indeed it is due to the weight loss. I now keep an extra wool sweater at my office and a blanket in my car. LOL! I 'd rather be cold than fat any day!!

1 cup Fage nonfat plain Greek yogurt mixed with 2 TB PB2 (reconstituted) and a heaping TB of organic granola. I eat it almost every day. 26 grams of protein and it is soooo yummy.

I used to be a bread addict as well, but when I started my healthy eating journey, I cut it out completely for 6 months. Once I got closer to my goal weight, I began to add it back in and found it didn't even really appeal to me as much any more. Now, I typically have a low carb, high fiber, whole grain tortilla once or…

I am addicted to Kashi Go Lean Toasted Berry Crumble. High in fiber and protein for a ceral and delicious. My 13 year old daughter laughs at me because I call it dessert, but it tastes that good to me.

Naked tenders and a side salad is what I get every time I go. And I use my salad dressing (balsamic) for my tenders instead of their wing sauce--most of the sauces are really high in carbs/sugar.

I often wonder this as well. I always go way over on sugar, but almost all of it comes from whole fruits such as strawberries, oranges, grapes, and peaches.

They are a little too fake tasting for me, but OK in a pinch. I mostly use the maple syrup.

Stress eating is why I had get in gear this year. After the first of the year, I was the heaviest I had ever been. My husband started his 5th year without permanent employment and no prospects, he was diagnosed with yet more health issues, my daughter became a teenager, we got hit with major car repair bills. It just kept…

As of yesterday, I have lost 53 in 20 weeks.
