Good to know. I'm not really new here, but this issue is new to me. I'm not purposefully trying to eat under 1,000 calories it just happens. I don't feel the urge to snack because I'm simply not that hungry. It may be because I eat so much protein and it fills me up? I'm not looking to lose weight quickly, but healthily

Actually it is, but maybe my doctor doesn't know what they're talking about. What's a medical degree anyway? Like I said it is good to have MOST carbs in the morning, along with a good amount of protein. (Greek yogurt+fruits and veggies for example) You should have carbs throughout the day, like I do, but starting your day…

I usually have food cravings (for carbs most of the time) when I haven't eaten enough protein during the day. I usually will just have a healthy snack instead of what I'm craving and the feeling goes away.

I think that if someone struggles with severe overeating it's similar to an addiction. If you're an alcoholic in recovery, you wouldn't even have one drink. I try to keep that mindset. Overeating was a big problem for me, and just one "cheat" meal can turn into something bigger that derails all my hard work building…

Yes they make a great snack if you get hungry between meals. Great source of health fat/protein. Just make SURE you aren't over eating them! That is most people's downfall when eating almonds/cashews. Portion them out and you'll be golden :)

I get ~120g a day. (I weigh about 156 lbs). I have a Greek yogurt/kale/blueberry (1-2 cups of kale, 1/4 cup berries) smoothie for breakfast and usually some deli meat on the side. NOTHING! all i add is some salt and pepper! Put things like onions and kalamata olives in your salad, along with feta cheese. These taste great, and if you eat some in each bit, they add the flavor you lack in dressing.
