I guess spot on - according to them I'm a perfect pear :)

I absolutely love Stoneyfield's Organic Greek Yogurt - I even prefer it over Chobani which is pretty good. They come in a variety of sizes & flavors which usually I can only find at my local Sprouts or Whole Foods so that's not terribly convenient but recently Walmart has started carrying the 4oz 4 packs which is just the…

I like to make my own Balsamic dressing couple of cloves of fresh minced garlic, a pinch of salt & pepper, balsamic vinegar of choice & an extra virgin olive oil in about equal parts ( I like mine really vinegar-y) This way I know exactly what's in it & don't have to worry about any bad stuff you find in the store bought…

I whip up some coconut whipped cream & put a bit on top of fresh berries!

I usually have a tbsp w/ breakfast each morning & then another 1.5 tbsp later in the day in the form of a chia fresca - Nice to get the extra fiber & nutrients in a compact package w/o a bunch of extra sweeteners, fillers, chemicals, etc I tried making chia pudding once but it didn't go over well :)

I've worked with him for nearly 10 years so I absolutely knew that he meant no offense by it - it just struck me as funny at the time But yeah, I can see how it would suck to say to someone "Wow, you look great! Lost a couple of lbs?" only to find out it's due to the chemo treatments they're going through :embarassed:

Check out www.thegraciouspantry.com - She blogs about clean eating & recently did a huge section on Thanksgiving recipes She also has a number of Paleo recipes too I'm definitely going to try the Garlicy Green Beans with Shallots this year!!

Lifeway does a low carb version using splenda instead of sugar to sweeten it - I wish they'd use stevia instead but it seems to be a pretty good fit into my diet for now - I usually drink 1/2 to 1 serving a day with breakfast http://www.lifeway.net/Products/LowCarbKefir/Slim6LowCarbLowFatKefir/Slim6MixedBerry.aspx

I generally go the soup route myself - But it's got to be Lipton chicken noodle out of the box  Weird thing is that once I'm feeling better I crave meat like nothing else - Like to the point that I could sit down & eat a porterhouse!!

@leo02098 Where do you get your Holy Crap :) I'd like to try it - it sounds yummy!

I use ground flax seed in my protein shake every day & then I usually have some chia seeds in/with my yogurt for breakfast & then later in a chia fresca drink about mid morning. I tried making chia seed pudding but it didn't turn fabulous Either option is a super easy & tasty way to get those Omega 3's & fiber. I haven't…

Think it's a little early still but I found some blood oranges at Whole Foods this weekend. I LOVE these!! I can't believe I ate 4 of them today. Completely blew my sugar intake for the day. The had dragon fruit there too but I wasn't sure how or what to eat it with so I skipped it. Can anyone give me a comparison?

MFP has set me at 1200 calories a day for 1lb a week & for the most part that's pretty reasonable for me - I usually end up between 1200-1300 when it's all said & done & I don't feel deprived at all. Though I have to admit I don't exercise much - usually just an hour's walk on the weekend days with the mutts - If I was…

I've been feeling this a lot lately - Kinda weird actually. I've been at my current weight +/- for a couple of weeks now & now I'm "seeing" my body differently... Seems like just a couple of weeks ago all I could see was the progress & now when I see my reflection I have the same reaction to my body that I did 20lbs ago :(

Sprouts Market & Whole Foods carry a bottled drink called Synergy that is made of Kombucha and some flavors have chia seeds in them too - I personally didn't really care for the Kombucha but I love chia drinks - I make my own at home but those same stores carry a brand called Mamma Chia that are good too! I recall some…

A ginormous salad of organic mixed greens & spinach with bell pepper, sprouts & homemade balsamic vinagrette followed by a fish taco using a small white corn tortilla, baked flounder filet and topped with fresh onion, cilantro, tomatillo salsa & fresh squeezed lime juice :) Yum!

I did their 24 day cleanse & lost 8lbs... in the next 24 days I lost another 8lbs on my own While it was a nice way to sort of jump start my diet/weightloss goals I think it was pretty expensive for what it was I think you can achieve the same results with a little common sense & research and keep the $200-300 in your…

My snacks usually consist of hard boiled egg whites (4-6 depending on how hungry), maybe 1/4cup of nonfat low sugar greek yogurt and/or some fruit. Recently I've been making some homemade protein bars from the Jaime Eason recipes. I've tried, pumpkin, chocolate & most recently lemon. Also made a batch of quinoa berry bites.

I have at least one salad a day - it generally consists of organic mixed baby greens, organic spinach, red onion, red yellow or orange peppers, and some black pepper. I use a homemade balsamic dressing made of olive oil, balsamic, fresh garlic, salt & pepper. Occassionally I'll sprinkle some fresh parmesan or asiago on it…

Made some Quinoa Berry Bites this weekend for a quick breakfast/snack addition I used strawberries for mine & the recipe actually yielded 16 "muffins" for me when filling the cups 1/2 way approximately 30 calories, 5g of carbs (1g fiber) 0g fat & 2g protein in each "bite" Ingredients: •1 1/2 Cups Cooked Quinoa •Juice of…

35, married 11 years - No kiddos for us. It was a choice we both made & we're both good with it. The in-laws on both sides seem to have finally accepted it. Don't dislike children, just don't necessarily want them or the responsibility that comes along with.

On day 13 of the 24 day challenge - down 6 lbs as of this morning but I haven't done any other measurements yet. I'm pleased so far - Eating much, much cleaner & I can honestly say that my cravings have all but disappeared! I made pizza for my husband last night & didn't even want any!
-
I'm doing the 24 day challenge right now & on day 12 - they really don't have any specific caloric restrictions that I've come across & basically what I'm eating is averaging about 1300-1400 calories a day & I feel FULL. I'm more or less eating 5, 200-300 calorie meals/snacks a day. They are pretty specific about what…

Has anyone noticed any "side effects" while cutting their sodium? I'm not terribly over but have been making an effort to stay in the guidlines set by MFP & I've been having headaches for the last week - Just wondering if they're related?
