I'm a LadyBoss! Are you still doing the program?

I tried it for the first time last week. Did three days of classes in a row and I'm hooked. Music is great, coaches are great, full body workout and always different.

Mostly treadmill sprints on an incline of 10. 30 seconds sprint, 45 seconds rest. 10 sprints total.

I loved Zumba so much that I became an instructor! My class has a huge range of ages and I'm so glad that it does. Zumba is for everyone and such a great workout without being boring. Stay at it!!

I have overdosed on an entire box of Cheeze-Its (reduced-fat of course....UGH!)

I just started today. A lot of it makes sense. Similar to South Beach but I like that you can have fruits. Hoping this will give me the jump start I need.

I agree with the others. Log in every day no matter what. I stopped for a while and gained so I'm back and motivated. It really helps tracking what you're taking in and feels amazing every da when young your exercise. Your journal will keep you honest with yourself and other members will keep you motivated. Feel free to…

Hi there. Send me a friend request if you like. I'm in the same boat. Was at my lowest weight in the spring and have gained 14 lbs since then. I am back to MFP with more motivation than I have felt in a long time but would some support and someone to cheer on as well. Best of luck!

Starting a group called "1/2 b4 40". Looking to run my first 1/2 marathon before I turn 40. The run is in October so I'm thinking that's plenty of time to train. Most I'm running now is 5 miles. Good luck in your endeavors!

So my BMR is 1307 cals. Does that mean I should be eating only 800 cals per day?

Thanks everyone!!!

Your post made me smile. Good for you. It sounds like your confidence levels are through the roof right now. Keep them there! You're a great motivator.

The best way for me to get back on track is to immediately put on a pair of pants that don't fit like they should or better yet my bathing suit and take a long look in the full length mirror. Nothing says,"Step away from the nachos" quite like a good dose of swim gear reality.

You absolutely should go. The more you can get used to sticking to your weight loss plans while immersing yourself in social activities that can be tempting the better. I went through this same issue a couple of weeks ago. While I LOVE margarita's, I opted for a Corona Light and ordered a big water. I steared clear of the…

I think with the pill you can gain maybe a couple of pounds at most but I know some people who have lost on it. I will tell you that I had the Mirena IUD for 6 weeks and gained 11 pounds. I did not change anything with regards to my exercise or eating. My doctor told me it was highly unlikely that the IUD caused the gain.…

It's really good to use to make omelets as well.

My new favorite spice is Emeril Lagasse's Bayou Blast. I use it in everything. Gives it a little kick and a ton of flavor. I'm considering buying stock in it. :-)

I was just feeling miserable as I logged in this morning because the same thing happened to me this weeked. We had a ton going on and other people were cooking my meals. I felt like I didn't have control the situation and all I could think was how embarrasing it's going to be to see my weight loss ticker move back up. All…

Love, love, love Zumba!!! I don't even consider it working out because it's like a dance party every time.

I stay right around 300. I never used to eat breakfast and once I started, the weight started falling off. Try to add in some protein to keep you full. My new favorite balanced breakfast is: 1 egg (organic, cage-free/omega 3) or 1/2 cup liquid egg whites with one cup baby spinach 1/2 cup blueberries (gotta get those…

Seriously?!?!?! Ok, so you need to do some research. Compile a list of people that you know or that are famous (actors, successful entepreneurs, everyday heros) that all have one thing in common. ~ a tattoo. Then show him the list. It will speak for itself and maybe he'll have a different outlook. You could show him yours…

Don't quit!!!! I came across these 5 tips for breaking a plateau: 1. Zig-Zag Calorie Intake Zig-zagging, or calorie cycling is the process of varying daily calorie intake, while maintaining the same weekly intake. Instead of consuming (for example) precisely 1800 calories each day - you can mix it up. Eat 1500 calories one…

Chew gum when your preparing dinner. That way you can't take little bites here and there that can quickly add up. I keep a huge container of sugar free gum right on my kitchen counter. It works!

I am the proud owner of a Shake Weight. Or I should say "Not so Proud Owner". It makes a great conversation peice but I should have spent my $20 on some dumbells and Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred video. :ohwell:
