Thanks everyone! I have actually not found maintenance as hard as everyone said it would be. Mentally, there are constant challenges and I have come to accept that I will NEVER have a healthy relationship with food. But I think I have found my way. I have not counted calories since June of 2012, shortly before I hit goal.…

God I wish I had your problem!!! Anyway - EAT. Eat high calorie items that are good for you. Nuts, peanut butter, cottage cheese, avocados. And count yourself lucky, I am tremendously jealous! Jen jenhudsonmosher.blogspot.com

Nope - it's calories in calories out and calories burned in any one period of time. The time of eating or exercising makes no difference. Jen jenhudsonmosher.blogspot.com

He is GORGEOUS! BUT - PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE listen to me - large dogs like German Shepherd - their bones done't fuse until 12-18 months. HE SHOULD NOT RUN WITH YOU BEFORE THAT!!!!!! You can permanently damage his joints. Any running he does on his own is fine, but "forced running" like running with you is off limits. He…

I run 6-7 miles during my lunch hour 3 days per week. I am not much of a "sweater" but when I come back, I wipe myself with wet wipes, spray on some Dr. Scholl's foot spray (I wear Vibrams), slap on some deoderant and go. If I smell a little sweaty, too effing bad. I don't like how some of them douse themelves in perfume…

Is the pain outside of the hip or inside? If it's the outside, it could be that your IT Band is acting up. Buy a foam roller. It hurts so good! Jen jenhudsonmosher.blogspot.com

You DO NOT need a rest day. That being said, there is nothing wrong with taking a rest day and you shouldn't feel guilty. Or you can do something light - like go for a walk or do some easy yoga. Whatever works best for you and your body. JEN jenhudsonmosher.blogspot.com

Strength before cardio. You want to have full power for a strength workout. jenhudsonmosher.blogspot.com

The average person gains 10 pounds while training for a marathon. It's tough to lose while training so hard. http://runnersconnect.net/running-nutrition-articles/weight-gain-marathon-training/

I am not in training for anything, but I ran 13.25 miles yesterday. I NEVER eat back my calories. And I'm not usually hungry the day of my long run but I usually am really hungry the next day. So I've been trying not to pig out today! Jen jenhudsonmosher.blogspot.com

I assume you have some research study to back up the claim that you MUST REST?
-
That was me just a couple short years ago! You will get there if you keep working on it!! Jen

What are these "rest days" you speak of? I workout every day and most days twice per day with no problems. The key is to mix it up. My "light days" are Fridays when I typically run 6 miles and do an hour of Yoga. jenhudsonmosher.blogspot.com

<Cardio + lifting weights = 228 pounds lost.
-
I've lost 228 pounds. I had loose skin that hung halfway down my thighs. I had it removed in April, and other then losing the weight, it's the best decision I ever made. 7 pounds of skin removed that was no chance in hell was ever going to tighten up on it's own! And, just as an FYI, I did everything "right". I lost weight…
