Working the back
Can I get some advice here? I've been lifting weights for about 2 years now. I use free weights and also my Bowflex. (No hating on the Bowflex please, I LOVE it). Anyway, my arms and legs are pretty muscular, as are my shoulders. But my back has NOTHING. What am I missing?

200 pounds lost as of today!!

March 2010: Weighed 344 pounds and walked 2 miles in 40 minutes. March 2013: Weighed 118 pounds and ran 13.13 miles in 1:48:10.

Can't lose the last few!!
This is just a general rant! My goal has been to get down to 115-120 pounds. But for the last 3 weeks I have been bouncing between 123-125. I am so frustrated. Then I'm having surgery and will not be able to exercise for 6-8 weeks. I'm having a full body lift to remove all my excess skin. 2 years ago, exercise involved walking the dogs a couple miles. 6 weeks no exercise :((
I am having a full circumferential body lift on 4/18 to remove all my excess skin. I know this will make a huge difference in my life and I'm excited. BUT the surgery will require me to not work out for 6 weeks. I work out daily - most days 2x a day. I'm so scared of losing strength and endurance and gaining weight!!

Skin removal surgery scheduled...
Today I scheduled a full circumferential skin removal surgery for 4/18. I am excited and nervous!!! As much as being nervous about the surgery itself, I am so scated about being laid up for 6 weeks and not being able to exercise. I haven't had a day without exercise since November!!!!

Despite doing everything "right" like exercising, moisturizing, losing weight slowly and drinking tons of water, I was so obese for so long, I have a massive amount of extra skin on my stomach.
