It's not Coke that you're addicted to it's Caffeine. Coffee or Tea is much better for you, especially Tea. They find new things in coffee that benefit health all the time now also. Diet Coke is just as bad as Coke.

I ride my bike mostly outside but the gym is important for winter and rainy days. This is the way I look at it. I want everyone to see how overweight I am. I want them to get used to seeing me. When I lose the weight I want them to witness it. So when I go into the gym at 95 overweight, go ahead and look, go ahead and…

It's not ridiculous at all, let me explain. Nicotine leaves your system between 2-4 days. It leaves very quickly so there is no need to ween yourself off of it. The addiction pangs are very mild compared to most drugs, coffee is much worse. Maybe the e-cig helped you quit, but I would argue that you quit despite the e-cig.

Before you take any advice from e-cig people, remember they are still drug addicts. They still suffer the negative effects of nicotine and are much more likely to start smoking real cigarettes again. Set yourself free of the drug entirely, its not hard.

After my third week of quitting I stopped having urges. Gaining weight when quitting is a myth. The fact of the matter is you should…

I do it everyday for two reasons. As you said one weigh in is not reliable, so if you do it once a week who is to say that one time is reliable. The scientific approached is to do it daily. I also do it everyday as it motivates me and I need that motivation daily. I perfectly understand why some people stay away from daily…

My only friends on here are my parents. I'm a 39 year old male from DC. Started last July and lost 30 pounds, but stopped and gained all of it back. Started again in June of this year, did it half *kitten* for a while but I managed to lose 10 pounds though. The last week I've really done well. Feel free to add me.
