I started at 167 lbs in Jan 9 and today I weigh 146. I strive for 1-2 lbs a week. I've had two different weeks where I plateaued. I calculated my bmr (1224 calories) with mfp and stay close to it by counting my calories on mfp. I know its not exact, give or take 50-100 calories, but it works. I exercise 3-4 times a week,…

I'm in. That was my exact goal because I am in a biggest loser challenge at work. I just lost 10 lb this month so will try to keep it going. My plan is MFP and 1200 cal/day. I also use my own Facebook page to keep track of the number of Minutes of exercise I do in one month. Join in April if you want to. Its called the…

great news. snoring can be embarrassing, especially if you want to go out over the weekend with others and you're too embarrassed to room with anyone. losing the weight definitely helps. what a big step and I'm happy for you!

Your honesty is truly reflective of your sense of frustration. Give yourself a chance now. I started at 167 lb in Aug and since joining this website I have lost 16 lbs. You can do it too, this is the right way. No more binging and purging, no more diet pills. Logging in and keeping track of your calories works mentally.…

good for you, sounds like a good plan. We are the same height and I started out at 167 lb on 7/28/11. My CW is 152 today. Hope we can make it. Add me as a friend and will motivate each other

great job on the weight loss! Keep this post and re read for future reference if you ever happen to have a bad day or lose the motivation to work out. What a great testimony. Keep up the good job!

I know the daily struggles you must be going through right now. I have been separated from my husband of 22 years for almost 2 years now. I immediate lost 25 lbs, only to gain it back. This time I've set some healthy goals for myself to include dropping the weight again and getting in better shape for me. This website has…

I drink EAS Advantage drinks. I usually add just as much water to make it last longer.

Did you shred any weight? I did 28 out of 30 days. I thought level 2 was harder than 3, but maybe I was just getting stronger. I bought Ripped in 30 but have yet to open it. Maybe we can start together and motivate each other. I also already have P90x but it has not been opened up yet either. I agree, I like the 20 min…

Good for you for getting started...thats the hard part. Losing weight is 80% food, 20% exercise. So although you are working out, if your not watching what you eat the weight will not fall off. I hope MFP (myfitnesspal) will be very motivating for you as it is for me. We are all trying to improve our health and drop some…

great job!! Keep it up!!!

Good advice. Thanks

I'm in too. I hope to stay motivated. This is my first challenge!

I find all of the cardio in Level 1 and 2 to be easy. The up down push ups were hard at first, and the plank jumping jacks really got my heart racing. In level 3, the mtn climbers get my heart going and the up down planks on your hands then down to your forearms. Jumping jacks with weights is good!

Im on Level 3 day 20. Level 2 was harder for me than level 3. Im stronger upper body and core. Gonna do her ripped dvd after
-
I agree! Running and weight training for 6 weeks will do it. Try Jillian Michael's 30 Day Shred dvd
-
Im on level 2, day 15. the first 3 days are hard and you'll get sore. But keep at it, it will get easier.
-
I'm on day 15, level 2. Definitely worth it. Stick to it girls!!
-
I'm on day 8! Lets support each other!!

Better late than never! Keep up the good work....

I am also a nurse and work the same shift. This has been a dilemma for me in the past, but I have decided to stop making excuses for myself, all the while trying to be practical. It's too early for me to try and work out in the morning. So the only other option is during work of after work. I started walking the 7 flights…
