Just joined a gym yesterday myself. My exercise goals right now are simple. Attend a once a week yoga class. I wanted to take a yoga class and researched and found it cheaper to join a gym than pay for a weekly class at a yoga studio. So Thursday is my 1st class. Eventually I am also looking forward to adding water…

I started my MFP journey at 321 pounds and dropped about 85 pounds in just a little over a year. Then I lost my motivation and fell off the wagon bad. Over the last year and a half I have been spotty on MFP and gained 60 pounds back. I am rejoining and I have cleared the board. My current starting weight is 295. I…

I agree with the sentiment of the group. You need to tell him how you feel and not worry that you burdening him. As a married couple, the burden needs to be shared. That being said, I don't know how religious you guys are but if you are perhaps you can frame it in a way that allows the decision to be left up to God. It…

I am sure that I did quick add to hide something embarrasing, although mostly I don't care what people think about my diary. I do use quick add often as a placeholder until I can put in the recipe for real. I don't really like using it often because it throws off the macro and micro nutrient count.

Me and my furbaby cheeto... I'm even in my workout gear as I had just come home from my walk.

I enjoy a sweeter breakfast sometimes, so if you are sticking to paleo or gluten free then maybe try fruit and some kind of fat, almond or natural peanut butter. Someone else mentioned greek yogurts so that might helpful. Dairy is not strickly paleo but if you feel comfortable with it go for it. I am trying to eat more…

My weight loss has slowed significantly too. I think that we both need to start some exercise...

All 79 pounds have been calorie restriction only! No gym. I know at some point that I will have to encorporate exercise but I don't know if the gym route is the way that I will go. Best of luck to you what ever you decide to do!

have you considered that middle girl really didn't think all that much of it and thus said she was sick all weekend. If she was sick the sickness probably was in thr forefront of her mind and that is all she really remembered...she might not have really considered the outing with the used-to-be of significant importance…

You mentioned liking your journey to being a smoker and having to deal with the addiction. I have discovered that I have an addictive personality. My drug of choice is food but as I get control on that I would always replace it with something else. While I have to be diligent about what goes into my mouth to accomplish…

@shannon_2003 - that is great idea... But it seems that this is not a very popular idea as very few people commented here. Might be a fruitless idea if more people aren't interested. So far I have about 6 -8 pairs of jeans in a size 26W and a size 24 dress that still has the tags on it. I also have several size 24W slacks…

I eat taco bell a lot and do ok at it. 1 fresco chicken taco is 150 calories. My favorite is the fresco regular beef taco is also 150 calories. Probably not the healthiest of the options but ok on the calories.

don't really like them myself but my hubby loves them. I agree with the bacon and garlic. Makes them tolerable for me and super yummy for hubby. doesn't do much for the waistline though.

That;s a great photo. Thanks for the uplift. I too suffer from double chin and it is most genetic with a little fat face. I have a naturally thin face but still have the double chin. Weight loss helps but will likely not get rid of it entirely. The rest of my face is long an thin. That means when I lose all the weight that…
