Yes. Mostly on MFP. I feel like people are less supportive and less likely to respond to posts, blogs, etc. once you're down closer to your goal weight. Sad :-(

I love belly dance! I did it for years at a studio... it is a lot fun but I don't know much about the dvds... the majority belly dancers I have known, danced with, and been instructed by have not been skinny minnies like you see on those dvds... it's a good workout for your muscles but not always very aerobic.
