I can't do that...I NEED to count. I like to eat and still under estimate the amount of calories even though I have been doing this for 3 years. I will need to count for the rest of my life.

I don't really enter in everything I eat, just put in the quick calories. Today I burned 1275 calories on my elliptical and it says I still have 900 more calories, but I never eat them back. I am set at 1220 calories per day before my work outs but I tend to stay right around 1500 daily. So I eat back about 300, but leave…

No, I haven't taken a break at all. I am so afraid of gaining if I go to maintenance. Not sure how to get over that fear.

Thanks for the input ...I would like to do some different kind of expersize, but I find the elliptical is the least high impact. I have some back issues and can't do a lot of high intensity. So that is why I just increased my intensity and added weights.

I do intervals for the first hour. I do kind of splurge on Saturday nights with a nice meal out and dessert, so I figured I was making up on those calories I wasn't eating back during the week. I still want to be able to enjoy a night out...it usually includes some wine too. :-)

Just free weights. I do intense intervals on my elliptical, but I just started doing that the past week and a half.

Litehouse poppy seed dressing is really really good. Its only 60 calories per 2 tablespoons. I love poppy seed dressing, but I know some people don't. Its on the sweet side. I love it with so many different veggies.

I drink a couple glasses of wine almost every night and lost almost 60 lbs. However, I count my calories and measure out each glass. Except for Saturdays...that is my free day.

Did you work out?? Are you trying to eat your excersize calories back? If yes, I wouldn't worry about it, but you should whatever MFP is saying you need for just basic calories. Just my opinion. It won't hurt you not to eat for one day, but don't keep your calories too low....you will run out of energy.

Absolutely!! If I didn't have my one cheat day I never would have stayed on my plan and lost almost 60lbs! Hard to say. Initially, I lost a couple lbs, but its the time of my cycle when I naturally go up a couple pounds. I do this every month no matter what my weight. I will stick to it a bit longer....if no change, or if I gain, I will seek out something different.

1200 is too low if you are working out. Have you figured out your BMR?? You need to do that first and figure out what your body is burning per day even if you were in bed all day. There is a lot of info here on this subject.
