Looks soooo delicious! Cheesecake is one of my weaknesses. Thanks!

Agree completely :) One of my strongest beliefs is that we shouldn't judge others. You're gay? I'm happy for you. You have a plural marriage? I'm glad that you are happy. As long as what you are doing involves consenting adults and is not abusive or physically harmful, it is none of my damn business. I saw a quote that…

My hubby loves that I read this thread...because I went home and, uh, attacked him after work yesterday....lol

Meh, I don't shave. I get really bad razor burn when I shave, and after a couple days when the hair starts growing back, it gets horribly horribly itchy. I do hide my bra and panties between my shirt and pants though. :P

I do 99% of our shopping at Aldi. I could rave about them all day :) I do have a couple complaints though: 1- some of their fresh produce (avocados, garlic, most of the veggies, grapes, etc) is really good. The strawberries are hit or miss. The summer fruits such as nectarines, peaches, etc are kind of sketchy. Even if…

Spent about $3000, invited about 120 people--not including rings & honeymoon. My parents paid about $1000 and my inlaws paid about $400. We did everything possible DIY. Invitations, silk flowers (which were gorgeous btw), decorations, my veil (which was fantastic: 2 layers, cathedral length, with crystals scattered). Our…

I do credit card processing at my work. We have a slow processor--and it takes 2-3 days for charges to go through. 7 weeks? No. What happened is, the hotel for whatever reason neglected to run your card. Now, after their end-of-year audit, they probably found that they didn't charge your card, and sent it on through. If I…

Looks amazing, thanks!

I used to buy canned beans a lot until I realized that almost all of them had added high fructose corn syrup or sugar. And the ones with no additives were twice as much money. So I just use dried beans now. It's a lot more prep work but at least I don't have to deal with the HFCS crap.

You have a big smile.

I just puree the veggies. Like when I make chili, I'll puree green pepper, celery, onion, carrot, and tomato together, for the tomato base. When I make potato soup, I steam a whole head of cauliflower and puree that with the potatoes; it makes it nice and thick and creamy and cuts down on the calories.

Eggs, bacon, and cheesy grits. Sooooo good and low-cal. For the grits, make plain grits with water and add a little margarine and some sharp cheddar cheese.

When I was 10, my mom told me I looked pregnant.

I went ahead and weighed in this morning. 201.2

You could cook the chicken in the slow cooker (you'd probably need to add some extra liquid like chicken broth), but I don't know how well it would work to thicken the sauce in it.

My son is very thin and tall for his age. We feed him lots of high-calorie but healthy foods: cheese, avocado (my kid eats it straight, but you can put it on sandwiches and stuff), whole milk, full fat plain greek yogurt, hardboiled eggs, butter/olive oil (in moderation), whole grains such as quinoa.

A few times a month? I don't have a problem with that. A few times a week? I would object to that, only because that would be less time that he spent at home with his family.

I would like to join! :) Junk food is what I struggle with; if I get to the end of the day under my calories it makes me want to go get some french fries or a cookie or something. I've been trying to eat cleaner and healthier so I think this will be perfect.

My starting weight is 209.2 if you would please add me to the list. Thanks!

I've never been trick or treating either. I grew up in a very conservative religious home. The happiest thing about being an adult is getting to make such choices for myself now. :) This year I'm dressing my toddler in a puppy dog costume (sooo cute) and handing out candy at the door. I think he's too little still to ToT.

My little one is only a year and a half. When he gets older I don't have a problem with letting him choose what he wants, but now is the time for him to learn healthy habits and appreciation for healthy food. There's plenty of time for junk food when he gets a little older. :)

Definitely. That's one of the main reasons we go back there.

I have trouble with this too. Kids' meal choices are fried, fried, or fried, with a side of fried. And soda to drink. Ugh. There's a place around here that has really great kids' choices. Pasta (plain or with marinara sauce), grilled chicken, grilled cheese, and of course the requisite corn dogs or fried chicken strips.…

Is everybody ready to get going today? I'll be doing the Shred after my son goes to bed tonight, at 8pm. I'm not a fan of working out that late because I'm tired, but when else would I do it?? Lol

I have very small ears and all earbuds fall out. Try getting a wide stretchy headband and wearing it over your ears to keep your earbuds in. Like this: http://www.amazon.com/Scunci-Effortless-Stretch-Neutral-Headwraps/dp/B002QA3130/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1319254794&sr=8-2

I'm in. I did the first 10 days, went on vacation, and never did start back up. I'd love to get back into it and do the 30 days straight. And Monday sounds good to start. :)

I can't use any hormonal birth control, so the IUD was pretty much my only option. I took 3 tylenol before going to my appt, and 3 afterwards. It really was not bad at all. I had some cramps for a couple days, but nothing worse than period cramps. OP, have you ever had a baby? I've heard it's worse for someone who hasn't…
