47th birthday and feeling great!!!
Today marks nine months since I started this journey. Through diet and exercise, I have lost my goal of 40 pounds, and my 47th birthday is this week. Feeling great!

Met my goal!
Nine months ago (September 1st to June 1st) I began this lifestyle change. I've worked out 6 days a week (that's 250 hours) and maintained a 1,200 to 1,500 calorie diet. Running 1st 5K in the morning!
Eight months ago I started this journey. I now feel better than ever, and I am about to run my first 5K. 41 pounds lighter, stronger than ever, and feeling good. Here it goes!

Ran My First 5K!
8 months ago I was 173 lbs, and miserable. (I'm 5'6", 46 years old). Joined a gym, and started eating right-- fast forward to May 2nd, I've lost 42 lbs, and just (literally!) completed my first 5K in 29 minutes. Feelin' good! Plan to keep working out and eating well (maintenance). Day by day is all it takes. :)

4 months and 9 days= 30 lbs down
