1,000 miles!
Today I reached 1,000 miles ridden on my bike in just over a year! Before that, I hadn’t owned or ridden a bike in 35 years. I completed 77 rides ranging from 5 to 33 miles, in 3 states plus Canada. Cycling calories?
My garmin gave me 1200 calories for biking 20 miles (road bike on paved roads)in 3 hr including stops. MFP gave me close to 1400. Are either of those even closely realistic? I weigh about 160. Total elevation gain 663 ft, so a pretty basic ride.
