Just completed the first week of insanity but missing other stuff like jogging and going gym. I will continue but want to go gym too any ideas on what I could do as body does ache after insanity

M 5,8 180pounds 24% fat. Would like to loose fat replace with extra muscle but not get too big. Currently trying to train for a 10k others say don't do cardio eat protein and lift heavy weights. Help !

I have just signed up for the 10k plan on runkeeper and linked it to fitness pal. Not sure how it will link/work anyone else up or doing it so we can motivate each other.
you can link your run keeper to fitness or message me and I will give you me run keeper id. I need competition otherwise I get bored really easily.
Should you have protein before or after a workout ? Also are protein shakes any good ?

Need to get iron levels up ... Already have multi vits for a, c and d. Is more drugs the answer or do you have food ideas that are not fatty ?
Rather than running is it better to cycle as long as you do the same amount of calories ?
If I train hard ( any exercise ) I hurt hard so have to miss a day. Is better to do little lots or lots less time a week?
