MOOV Now
Several friends have pre-ordered the updated Moov Now. I've been reading the reviews and it sounds intriguing. It's inexpensive and has some cool training features that my fitbit doesn't have like realtime coaching from the app while running, BUT it doesn't track daily steps. Anyone else reading up on it and considering…

Protein powders and heat
On another thread several people suggested adding their protein powder/shakes to coffee in place of cream. I've read somewhere that adding hot liquid to protein breaks down the protein so I only add it to cold coffee. Has anyone else heard this or is it just another urban myth?

Experimenting with cottage cheese
I like cottage cheese; fat free, low fat, 2% and 4%. Right now I'm consuming fat free to maximize the qualities : calories ratio!! I've been mixing in different additives for variety. So far I've tried tomatoes (yum), pineapple (yum), shredded carrots (ok), and blueberries (yuk)! What, if anything, do you all like mixed in…

I paid close attention to the triggers and thought I was keeping it under control. Calories burned
Just an observation really. I wear a FitBit One everyday. It syncs with MFP and adds calories back to my daily goals based on my activity level. After this mornings run my MFP Diary showed showed a calorie burn credit from Fitbit of 280. My Fitbit dashboard showed an 800 calorie burn. Out of curiosity I plugged my time and…

2 years and gaining
Taboo topic for WLS forums but, a word to the wise, it is possible to slip back into old habits, and regain the weight! History: November 2013, 300 lbs, sleeved, lost 120 lbs in 9 months, held steady another 6 months, then over the course of the next 6 months gained 40 pounds back! On the road to re-losing the gain but…

I have rice cakes, frozen veggies, protein powder plus some canned goods (stewed tomatoes and sauerkraut) oatmeal and dry…
