All I can say to myself is welcome back..........<sigh>
.Time to shift this thing back in gear and try again.
.I once weighed ....... egads....... here it comes.........true confessions time.......
300+
My lowest on this journey was 179.
My current is 207.
My goal.........a little less each week.
Previous goal was 150. Not quite realistic and really, just a number. I know I felt MARVELOUS at 179 and I knew that I would feel even better a little lower but somewhere along the way I lost my dream. I became complacent.
I've been back about two weeks and went from 226 to 207. I know, from experience (a lot of experience) that first week losses are usually pretty good, mostly water, but very encouraging. Problem with such an accelerated start is that its impossible to sustain and can become demoralizing if used as a measure in the future.
So here's to weighing a little less next time I step on the scale.
