Strength training for newbies at home
So after seeing so many inspiring success stories involving strength training I'm getting on board! That being said I need some ideas and tips. My plan for now is to start simple with squats, planks, push ups, and lunges (or modified versions) for now but is that enough. Any beginner plans? Please remember I'll be at home…

Hey all! My name is Ally I'm 28, 5'6" and 225 lbs. a number my body seems to love but I do not. I've recently lost 27 lbs with weight watchers online and gained back about 25 ugh. My first goal for myself is 199 lbs then 180. I've played with mfp for a few years but never really dedicated effort to it. Wish me luck!

Cardio or strength training
Hey guys I feel overwhelmed by my internet surfing on which is better for me cardio or strength training. On one hand I've read you'll lose quicker with cardio but I think I'll like the way I look overall with strength training more...or maybe a combo? Any suggestions? All workouts will be at home only.
