I had a cheat day.
And that turned into a cheat weekend. I've been doing great for the past two months, but this weekend I ate over 3500 calories a day. It was like I couldn't control my cravings, and if I tried to be disciplined I was instantly depressed. So I gave in and ate what I wanted. Now I'm up 4 pounds this morning on the scale.

HELP
My boyfriend's mom came this weekend and made pasta salad, fried chicken, shrimp, devil's food cake cupcakes, 2 sweet potato pies, and a big pan of banana pudding. While it was good to have small servings of it yesterday, she's gone and there's so much food left. These are weakness foods for me and I just want to throw it…

Invisible Success
Hello all, I've been working out and eating better for a little over a month now and so far I've lost 12 pounds. I've kept my routine very simple and so far things have been easy: eat ~1800 cals a day, drink water, and weight lift 2-3 times a week. In 2015, I weighed 256 and I had a friend who stayed with me for about 2 months. During that time, she convinced me to try going vegan and start running. I did it, and I lost 14 pounds in two…

Would you say these are healthy snacks?
I'm just getting started with eating right again, and I want to make sure I'm eating well. Seeing that I used to eat upwards of 3000 calories a day, I'm satisfied with eating with the range of 1600-1800 calories a day for the past few weeks. I'm not being so strict right now as I'm primarily focusing on developing the…

Lost 14 lbs in the last month... just looking for support! Friend me!
I've been using MFP for about a month now, and on top of watching my eating I've been exercising in the mornings... and apparently it's paying off! I just need some people who are committed and like showing support--and wouldn't mind sharing their food diaries to bounce meal ideas off of!

Mycoproteins??? And have you tried them?
I was shopping for some "meatless"-meat products today and came across the brand, Quorn. They sell "chicken fillets" and other products similar to that, yet apparently they have no meat, no soy, and no fat. I was instantly fascinated and saw on the ingredients that it said it is made from mycoproteins. Some sort of…
