Thank you guys for the tips and support! Surely I didn't expect the scale to stay the same. I just needed to vent and regroup. It's crazy how quickly you can fall down that slippery slope.

Great tips. I definitely have to be more calculated about things like this.
-
Ha! I love this. Well I definitely used up some of the food for this morning's workout.

I have a daily calorie goal of 1800 calories and I stick to that pretty closely. So far I've been losing about 2 pounds a week.

Hey! Would love to support. Add me!

Me too, I'm needing to drop 130. Add me!

Thank you all. All good points. This is a mental and emotional battle that I'll have to learn to deal with.

1.) Crystal Light + bottle water + Ciroc 2.) Coke Zero + Parrot Bay Rum (Lime) Those are my go-to's

I'm 24, 5'6, 260 lbs and I eat about 1820 calories a day. I do strength training 2-3 times a week (I don't eat my calories back on those days). I started on April 1st and have lost 12 lbs, averaging about 2 pounds per week.

Hmm, thanks for the tip! I'll measure myself today and start a log
-
Lol! Now I'm learning to save pizza as my treat instead of a daily thing. But yes, I have a big appreciation for the little things I'm noticing
-
I saw you mentioned you do mostly yoga/Pilates and running. I'd try mixing weight training into the workouts, even if you just start with 2-5 lb. weights or use little ankle weights while walking or running. I've also heard that at a certain point, your body will actually stop losing weight progressively of you're not…

Love it. Thanks!

You are awesome! Thank for for this #JustOneDay

Thank you for this!

Wow! I am completely blown away by how much support I've gotten on this post. I've been trying to keep to myself for a long time and keep my weight loss "private". I didn't really add any friends and definitely have been trying to go it alone. It has been so hard to deal with this journey and my feelings/thoughts on my…

This sounds like a great practice! I can't wait to use this.

Good point! I've got to learn to take the small steps. I can get so bullish at times and I have to remember it's a lifetime process!
-
Running was enjoyable the more that I did it, but it did strain my body/knees a bit. It may be something that I try to get back into again as I get lighter
-
I love this perspective
-
Great point!

That's good feedback. I never thought of it like that

I've heard rave reviews about Halo Top so I have a lot of hope in it. However, I personally tried the chocolate flavor. Me being a choco-holic and chocolate ice cream being my favorite, Halo Top didn't nail the chocolate flavor for me.

Hey girl! I'm in the same boat as you: #SerialStarter. I'm 24 and I am looking for some support as well. I've made several half attempts and even major attempts to lose weight, but in the end I'm refusing to give up. Edison literally failed 1,000 times before he invented a successful lightbulb! For me, I've come to two…

Hey guys! Feel free to add me

Can I please add you?! You seem so motivational and that's what I need right now.

I've been on MFP for years as well and I've always fallen off the wagon for some reason or another. I don't have any kids, but my excuses were always that I'm in school or I'm working or I'm too busy... Honestly I think that in the past I only used MyFitnessPal because I was motivated by my friends to use it. When they…
