Adjusting the macros on a food item
Can we adjust the individual macros on a food item without making a custom entry? For example, an English muffin contains 4gms of protein, 1 gram of fat, and 25gm of carbs. It really is not a source of protein so can I "erase" those 4gms so I know I still need to get those with healthier protein sources by the end of the…

Men in their 50's and 60's Training Hard Looking for W/O Partners
I'm looking for a virtual workout partner (or a few) for accountability and sharing notes and ideas. Yes, we are all on lock down and I've collected some heavy things to train in the garage. Since the picture below added my dad's old napsack for the Marine Corp (Korea). Put about 85lbs of sand in it. Hung the rings from…

Macro Counts by day
I've had a long hiatus from MFP I was was maintaining or close to it, for a few years. Now I'm interested more in body comp since I'm 2lbs +/- of my goal weight. I did some searching and did not get too many hits on crossfit so I thought I'd reach out and see if anyone else here is training that way. I used to really drink the cool-aid for a couple of years and really was hard core about it. I hurt myself (as all crossfitters ultimately do) and did my own thing for a long time.…

Old Guys Rule
Calling men 40+ and 50+ 60+ (or more) on the board. I'm a little new here but not new to this type of community. I was on MyFoodDiary for a number of years a long time ago and was very successful losing 35 pounds with the support of a small number of guys on the board at that time. I'm back, after an 8 or 9 year break and…

Not a newbie
All, I've been a member of MFP for while but now taking it a little more seriously. Years ago I was on My Food Diary and found that very helpful for a few reasons. I was able to go from 205 to 175 in 6mos. I kept it off for about 8 years. I've been through a couple of career transition in the last two years and my diet and…
