At least down 50 pounds at 40!
Not done yet! Started my new life in February! I turn 40 tomorrow... I lost at least 50 pounds but most likely more since I hate scale phobia for a while

Apple Watch says I burned XXX calories MFP says XXX
When I started my journey I may have set things up wrong but now MFP just counts the steps from my watch not the actual exercise. Using yesterday as an example.. My first 50 days.
I am pleased with the results so far, I am not half way there yet but I have enough progress I can honestly say I haven't felt this well in years. Me February 15th (300 plus, the scale stopped at 300.....) Me today (260ish) Counting calories, wish I knew about this years ago... But 40 is the new 30 right :)

Went from walking to jogging and now eating way more.
I know my body needs fuel, I have no problems with that. But when I would walk on an incline (no hands :wink: ) or outdoors my calories burned would be say 400 or so in an hour at 3mph to 3.8mph walking speed. I would do about 2-3 hours of that a day half in the morning half at night (tried to stay over 10k steps a day)…

Did my first 5k!
Started over 300 pounds Feb 12 or so, currently 265ish turning 40 the end of this month /background . Friday my sister asked if I wanted do a 5k benefit walk/run the next day. How much should you lose before dropping calories?
The title is confusing but I couldn't put it any clearer :/ If I drop 10 or 5 or ? pounds should I redo MFP to lower the calorie limits as I continue my weight loss journey?

How should I start strength training?
I have been losing weight pretty well, while eating healthy. Currently I am doing a mix of (to me) intense treadmill to casual 5-6miles a day 120 minutes between two sessions. All are on an incline.
