I have a step tracker that does not sync with my fitness pal. Is there anyway to manually enter the steps you get in a day?

Fitbit users
How many calories do you typically get for your steps? (Not including formal exercise) I aim for 8k per day and I typically get 300-400 Extra, seems a little high to me? Not sure if I should eat any back...

Modified low carb?
Of course, I find it very challenging to skim my diet down to meats, cheeses, low carb veggies. I have tried many times and the carb "flu" hits me hard with the headaches, brain fog and general feeling like "yuck". Salt- does it work?
Has anyone noticed a big difference getting through first few weeks of Keto by taking salt 1-2 times per day? I just read to add 1/2 tsp to beverages, broth or try soy sauce. Tia!

Eat what you love and lose
I just started tracking on here. I am from the dieting deprivation mindset that you have to cut out everything you love to lose weight. It comes from years of weight loss through low carb dieting that did not agree with my body and . Do you feel like you eat whatever you want and lose with MFP?
