When you drop weight, is it usually a result of previous week's dieting?
Reason I ask is because I was previously logging and restricting calories. Then went out with friends to a buffet. I'll admit, I went crazy. Like "binge on all the sweets and treats at a party" crazy. Plates and plates of food in one evening, much of it being calorie dense. Honestly, I didn't even know I was capable of…

More energy with less food; why?
I've noticed that as soon as I eat (anything at all) my energy does down the drain for the rest of the day. Doesn't matter if it's nutrient dense food or highly processed food. Doesn't matter if it's a big meal or a small snack. I've noticed a pattern where my energy is through the roof...until the first digestion of the…

Why do I get full so easily?
I've been having an issue where I get full easily. I talked to my doctor and was diagnosed with IBS which wasn't helpful considering she didn't go into detail and the fact that other people I chatted with on an IBS forum [later on] said they don't have this issue. I've been consuming anywhere from 600 to 1000 calories a…

Why do I gain weight when eating low calorie, high volume foods, but not small calorie dense food?
I weigh myself daily and have noticed a pattern along with experimenting. I've been cycling between a calorie deficit and 2 days per week of maintenance. Over the past few months I've gained around 15 pounds. Technically over 20 but I countered some of that through experimenting and now I'm at the point where I'm no longer…

Does lack of sleep really cause weight gain if you remain in a deficit?
Despite recent lack of sleep, I still have been sticking to my exercise routine and calorie deficit. I actually go to bed at a decent time which is 10:00pm. The problem is falling asleep. I don't fall asleep until 1 or 2 am. I haven't weighed myself recently and have been eating high sodium foods like pickles over the…

LADIES: Is it normal to get burnt out during the time of the month?
I'm going through mine right now and keep getting burnt out within minutes of exercising. The bloat is also really bad this time and I feel so sluggish. :(

Can you eat ice cream and/or other desserts on a low carb diet if it fits?
Example; getting your protein, and a majority of fats, from all meals except for one which you save for dessert because you still have carbs and fats left. But in terms of macros, you're still technically low carb. Is this ok?

Will I gain weight if I'm too sedentary, don't eat, or my sleep schedule is off?
Day 2 of my stomach flu and all I've been doing for the past day and today is lying in bed. I have a fever, I've been eating light but not much because everything is going right through me [TMI] but I don't want to slow my metabolism so I've been forcing some bran foods and fruits. And I keep taking naps. By night time I…

Why does my bottom "hang" down and what to do about it?
Am 5'7 and 126 pounds. I do mainly cardio with light weights on the side. My diet is vegetarian. My macro split it 50/25/25 [carbs/proteins/fats]. I'm fairly slim [a size 1]. Measurements are small too. I have a 23 inch waist and 32 hips. However, despite my measurements, size, and weight, my bottom tends to "hang".…
