How low do you go?
So I've been trying the low-carb thing and even though I've nixed fruit, all grains, etc etc, I still can't keep my carbs below 50? Do I really just have to eat plates of meat and eggs? How low can I make it where I'll still be cutting calories/staying full? This is hard for me. I don't really like fruit that much, but I…

Very obese
So my goal is 160 and I'm at 240 right now. I was wondering if anyone had tried a 5:2 approach? That is restricting to 500 for 2 days a week and eating at the 2 lb defecit for the other 5? I started 3 months ago at 231 and I'm at 235 now. I haven't been exercising but I'm still low calorie so I don't understand. I have 3 kids total, and the 6…

Today sucks
So we've (me and my boyfriend) been doing P90x and dieting for like a month now and I measured myself today, gained 2 inches on waist and gained an inch on thigh and lost nothing on arms. Gained 1 lb. Boyfriend lost 10 damn pounds. Today has been awful already without adding that on. I just feel like crying.

Child nutrition in 2018
Is it just me or is teaching children moderation becoming increasingly hard? I definitely don't withhold popsicles or the occasional snack cake from my children, but it seems like there's no outer support. Every time a family member is around there's constant offerings of candy and soda and cake and cookies. My parents are…
