Body Fat % on Scale Barely Nudging
I've lost 12 lbs since January 1st. Yay for that. But my body fat has only gone down 1%. At this rate, I'll end up with a body fat % in the mid-30s at my goal weight. I am lifting weights, doing cardio, and averaging around 85 grams of protein a day. What am I doing wrong? What can I can to get more fat loss going?

April Strength Training Sets Challenge
I didn't see a challenge like this, so here goes for anyone interested. Since being plagued by injuries, cardio is out for now and strength is where it's at. Challenge is simple: set a monthly goal for sets and record progress along the way. B)

How to Be at Peace With Your Body During Weight Loss
I struggle so much with trying to feel good about myself during this weight loss period. I get ready for work, look in the mirror, and am so ashamed of my body. Like, can I just wear a potato sack and call it a day? No matter what I do, the weight is coming off slowly (and I have a lot to lose). I don't want to keep…

Anyone Else Feeling Down Because of Not Losing/Gaining?
Been at this since the latter part of August. Before starting, I logged my "non-dieting" intake and averaged about 3,600 calories a day and maintained an obese weight. I've since cut my calories by half and exercise regularly (an hour on the bike every day and weight training 3x/wk). I weigh my food, including pre-packaged…

PSA If You Eat Pre-Packaged Food
I knew food companies could legally be off on calorie counts by up to 20%, but never really took it seriously. Recently I decided to start weighing stuff like protein bars, frozen patties, and deli meat instead of going by slices or pieces. For instance, I just had a Vega protein bar. Package says one bar is 190 calories.…

Oily Skin and Food Choices
Has anyone ever gotten rid of their oily skin (like t-zone on face) by lowering the fat in their diet? I've been the queen of shininess (is that a word?) lately and no amount of blotting with tissue during the workday is helping. I even bought powder foundation and that hasn't worked. So maybe a low-fat diet will work?

Time to Lower Calories?
Five weeks ago, I started working on losing weight by tracking calories (kept a paper journal at first, then switched to MFP later on). First week, lost nothing. So I changed up my foods (started eating less processed, kept calories in same range) and lost 3lbs/wk for the next 3 weeks. This past week (5th week), I gained a…
