Shoulder pain after running
I have been running for awhile now and recently started increasing my mileage. My shoulder has been sore the next day after a longer run, any idea what that's about? I stretch legs and arms before heading out and after. I was expecting my legs to be sore but not my shoulder! Thoughts?

Would you run with laryngitis?
I seem to have laryngitis and I'm wondering if I should hold off running. No real chest congestion just a weak voice with tickle in my throat. What do you think?

Best shoe brand for overpronators?
I know it's a very personal choice. The running store said I'm overpronating and that's the likely cause of my shin splints. So I'm thinking new shoes are in order. What do you like?

Shin splints, shoe inserts and progress
So I finished c25k two weeks ago and it seems that since I started running longer distances shin splits have started. I bought new shoes at the beginning of my journey and they were great until a few weeks ago. First 5k
I did it this morning! 35.11, my best time yet! I started C25k on August 13th and was never a runner! If I can do it anyone can!

Week 7 Done....3.2 Miles!
I just finished week 7! I am running my 5K on Saturday so Monday and today I decided to run the distance of the 5K just to be sure I could do it and guess what???? I did! Monday in 40 minutes and today in 37. LOVE THIS PROGRAM!!! Anyone else go off the schedule and go farther than the prescribed distances?

Week 7 Day 1
A great run this morning, I did the full 25 minutes but only logged 2.32 miles. What am I saying???! I RAN 2.32 MILES! On August 13 I could barely run 60 seconds! Next Saturday is a 5k, will I be ready?

Can someone explain why we go from a solid 20 minutes back to intervals? I feel so accomplished for running 20 I want to try again!

C25K is it too soon
Hi! I started C25K on August 12th. I am about to start week 4. Do you think it is realistic that I could be ready for a 5K on September 29th. It will be right at the end of my training. Will I be making a fool of myself?
