How do I log a multi-ingredient item? Specifically, I have a protein shake for breakfast and I add fruit (different every day), Green's Plus (or spinach or Swiss chard), flax seed, hemp hearts, yogurt. Help? Thanks

Ladies: Weigh in while on cycle
Do you do your weigh in while on your cycle? I started my cycle yesterday and today was my weigh in. I have had a good week with logging food (right on target for my calories) and with exercise. But my weight went up a half a pound over last week!!! I didn't expect it to go down because of my cycle but up? Half a pound??…

is 4oz of chicken pre-cooked weight or cooked weight
When I am counting chicken (or beef or pork or whatever) and it says 4 oz, it that the weight of the item prior to cooking or after it is cooked? It isn't always clear.

how to count....
How do I count something I have no idea what is in it or how many calories? My boyfriend gave me a lemon loaf and I had a small piece - did not weigh it (still need to get a small scale). I checked the food index and a slice of lemon loaf ranges from 490 calories to 130 calories. Suggestions?

I am all about not dieting but rather engaging in a lifestyle change. But my question is this....(THEORETICALLY) If the overall goal of weight loss is to have a calorie deficit, a person could (THEORETICALLY) eat only chocolate and if they stay under calorie input vs. activity output....would they still lose weight?…
