My recommended to lose 2 pounds per week is set to 1380 for my weekly goal, but because I do high intensity Zumba, I've been at this for three days and I'm over half way to my weekly goal, so is it alright if I exceed that? Is it still healthy?

I've always wondered...
Is doing squats/jumping jacks/wall sits/lifting 3lb weights to start going to benefit me? Muscle workouts? I'm 250lbs, admittedly, so I was wondering if that would be beneficial. I have been doing them, I just don't know if it's a waste of my time.

Zumba is totally worth it.
I did it earlier for 20 minutes cumulatively of dancing (and it is very hardcore) and managed to burn 241 calories. Not only is it fun, but it's easy to do at home if you have a Wii or easy to do with classes!
