beginer weight lifter
Im a 25 year old female, i do cardio 3 times a week for 20-45 min, but i really want to start lifting weights. I have a home gym, and a bench press. But i dont know where to start as far as a routine, reps or how much weight i should start with. Anyone willing to help me out??? please please please people..:)

So my dr. Said to speed up weightloss i dont want to plateu so she recomended in the begining work out 3 days one week the next week work out five days, then the third week staying moving (ie walking) but dont do any actual workouts, then the following week start back at 3 x a week and follow that pattern. So i have alot of gym equipment that id like to actually use so i cleaned a big space in my basement and want to put those interlocking rubber mats down, any idea on how to get one of those huge *kitten* machines on top of it without scratching it all up?

water question..
Approx how many cups of water is in a 1.5 liter bottle. I usually drink the regular size ones and count one as 2 glasses, but the larger ones are more convenient for me

can you withdraw from diet pop?
Its been 3 weeks without drinking any diet pepsi, week 1-2 were fine..now i have this headache that doesnt seem to go away..could this be from cutting out the aspartame? Or too much water ?
