i've got a very busy pre-christmas period full of parties with non-diet friendly food. would it work to eat very consevatively, minimum 1200 calories though, for the rest of the week to potentially bank around 1000-1500 a week to allow me a little more freedom at the parties? i don't intend to go crazy and would be happy…

i've only been doing this for three days and i have been more concious of what i've been eating, but i've been satisfied after all my meals, had snacks and even wine and/or chocolate and still been under my calorie limit. i haven't even had to eat my exercise calories. do you have to consume the number of calories calculated for you? i only ask as i've planned all three meals, plus two snacks and all the drinks i've had today and am still left with 500 calories because i have exercised today. if i don't eat them will i lose more weight or does my body need feeding?
