Forgoing breakfast foods for breakfast drinks?

Lower Calorie Diet + Needing more sleep
I hope this is the right section to be posting under. Here's my situation: Prior to MFP I was eating 1,700-1,800 calories. What would the reasoning be behind this craving?
I've been having a craving for broccoli. Not just any broccoli though....it has to be steamed like chinese food (but without any oil). I just want broccoli. Is this a sign of a deficiency? Additionally, I am also craving a lot of cinnamon....any connection?
