Lower Calorie Diet + Needing more sleep

I hope this is the right section to be posting under.
Here's my situation:
Prior to MFP I was eating 1,700-1,800 calories. Now, I am eating 1,300 (sometimes 1,400-1,500 (non-exercise calories) on days where I fall off track). I work-out 3-4 times a week, 20-30 mins each time. Monday-Friday I get anywhere from 6.5-7.5 hours of sleep. Saturdays and Sundays I aim for 7-9 hours. When I first started MFP I was tired but not like I am now. I go to bed tired, I wake up tired. The only time where I feel I have a burst of energy is during/right after my workouts. I sometimes eat back my exercise calories, but not all of them.
I guess what I'm trying to figure out here is...is it possible that 1,300 calories is too low for my body? Is it possible that I'm not giving my body enough food fuel?
