I don't see allot of threads or information on this. He says you should ditch crunches since they hurt your back, you don't develop your abs and that you should hold a plank for at least 2 minutes. What is the general consensus here? Good or bad or should I add him to the "Tin Foil Hat Brigade"?

Muscle building diet
Can anyone recommend a good diet to build muscle? I've met my weight loss goal and now I want to build back up but want to build lean muscle mass. I recognize this will be tougher for me since I am closer to 50 than 15. Even if I have to buy a book, I'm good with that. Any suggestions?
