What's the best way to lose belly fat?
I'm sick of the flat tire around my waist and the "permanent" muffin top I have going on. And I really do mean muffin top. Even when I take off my pants it's ALWAYS there and makes me feel self conscious. This is my #1 goal in my weight loss journey. It's bothered me my entire life and now I wanna do something about it.

Foot problems after running?
I have to ask, because I'm getting slightly concerned. My feet are really starting to hurt the more I run. It's gotten to the point where my right foot (coincidentally the same leg that I broke 3 years ago) has been getting numb in the toes. Does anyone else have this problem? What about back pain? That's another issue…

Eat To Live diet... Anyone try it?
Just wondering because I read the book a long time ago, and I'm rereading it now that I'm in desperate need of inspiration. I've been stuck in a rut for about a month and the frustration is killing me! So... Has anyone tried it? How much weight did you lose?

Anxiety about reaching your goal?
This has been a trying week for me. It started out with me being pretty panic-y Sunday night/Monday morning, but not going into full on anxiety attack mode. I couldn't figure out why. It continued throughout the week all the way up into today. Then I finally figured it out: I have a deep fear of losing motivation and…

NSV - Bridesmaid dress
My best friend is getting married next week and I'm part of the wedding party. I ordered my dress with the rest of the girls back in December, before I decided to start my weight loss journey. I barely fit into a size 24 back then so I ordered it on the larger size just in case I gained weight. Well, yesterday I was with…

Incredible Inspiration
I just saw this on my AOL news feed and had to share it with y'all. Arthur was a disabled veteran. Experts said he'd never walk again. He reached out for help -- and a very unlikely person heard him. http://youtu.be/qX9FSZJu448

What are YOUR goals and motivators?
I'm in the process of rewriting my goals and figuring out some rewards when I reach milestones. I've got a few things figured out so far: Goals: 1. Reach 130 by December of 2013. 2. Fit into a size 8 or smaller. 3. Exercise more often. 4. Eat healthier. Rewards: 1. 25lbs lost: ? 2. 50lbs lost: Rent an Aston Martin or some…

Frustration and loss of motivation
I've been on MFP for over 4 months now, and I feel like nothing I do is working. I've been working out a whole lot more. I've changed my diet. I've even bought DVD's of all kinds in hopes of losing a few extra pounds. Most recently I tried 30 Day Shred. After 2 weeks, NOTHING had changed. I hadn't lost any weight or…

Stretching
I just started the 30 Day Shred and I'm feeling the burn. My poor hips and butt are ACHING! I've got the worst pain in my left side I've had in a long time and I was wondering if there were certain types of stretches I could do in order to minimize any negative impact there might be from doing the Shred. What I'm mainly…

Am I doing something wrong?
I just started doing the 30 Day Shred. For the past 4 days, I've been on track with it, doing the program everyday to the best of my extent. I weighed myself at the beginning and I weighed myself this morning only to find out I had GAINED several pounds. Here are my problems: 1. I don't know how many calories I burn doing…

40 Day Challenge
Just recently I talked to my best friend, who is a very devout Catholic, about Lent. She's been participating in it for the longest time and has given up some very interesting things, like chocolate, meat, caffeine and alcohol. I, on the other hand, am technically Orthodox, which is almost like Catholic, but with holidays…

Exercises for bad knees?
I just started exercising after 2 years of being inactive due to a knee injury that required surgery. I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what types of exercise to do that's low impact until I get some strength back in that knee. I'm currently doing an elliptical trainer every time I go to the gym, but…
