Stretching

I just started the 30 Day Shred and I'm feeling the burn. My poor hips and butt are ACHING! I've got the worst pain in my left side I've had in a long time and I was wondering if there were certain types of stretches I could do in order to minimize any negative impact there might be from doing the Shred.

What I'm mainly looking for are hip, butt and hamstring stretches. Any suggestions? Please let me know!

I'm desperate! And in pain. And I really don't wanna hurt myself again like I did a few years back. I'm on the right track for the first time in my life, so the last thing I need is to tear something again.

    I had a real hard time when I started the 30 DS too. I found that yoga really helped me loosen up and recover a bit. All I did was the Rodney Yee yoga for beginners, only 20 minutes, but working those stretches in a routine, not just stagnant, seemed to really help. Good luck!

    I don't have specific stretches for you but definitely do more than the 3 they do at the end. I didn't and ended up with a strained hip flexor and adductor after a few days of level 2. Once they were strained it seemed like everything in the workout involved them. I moved on to level 3 before 10 days were up and they got better but it’s been 3 weeks now and I still have to be careful and stretch after any workout.
