What is your best "low cal" or "healthy" food find?
Mine is Warburton Thins - 100 calories for the 2 sides and they taste fantastic. Great with cold meat and salad or bacon and tomatoe or whatever.

Measuring dry spaghetti
Does anyone know how to calculate the calories in spaghetti. The packet says "Typical Values (cooked as directed) Per 100g" - 147 calories. Does this mean 100g before I cook it, or after I cook it? (which will obviously weigh more due to the water)

Oranges?
How do you work out the calories in an orange. The packet says 39calories in 100g. An average orange weighs 200g with its skin on. Do I take the weight with or without the skin? Because without the skin, the orange would weigh a lot less.

Any recommendations for scales?
Hi. I need a new set of scales. Mine are digital but vary. I can stand on them and get weighed, come off, then stand back on and the weight is different. Does anyone have a really good and accurate set of scales that I can buy in the UK.

I'm starving

Hello
Hi. New year and all that and I guess we are all thinking that we should lose some weight. Well I need to lose more than some weight. I thought I might make an effort yesterday and make a start. However, by lunchtime I only had 68 calories left for the rest of the day. (Might have been the slice of chocolate cake that I…
