So I just found out I am pregnant about a week and a half ago. I have changed my settings to maintaining my current weight, it was to loose 2 pounds a week before. Umm WTH how did I go over my MHR
I did the test to find out my maximum heart rate and it came out to be 195...but I was just sprinting and my heart rate peaked at 220bpm. Something doesn't seem right here....

Accuracy of HRM?
Is there a way to determine how accurate my HRM calories burned is? I did 30 minutes of aerobic steps with an 8 inch step while holding my 20 pound son (lol), my HRM says I burned 474 calories...does that sound high?

Hi everyone, I'm new here. I am looking to buy a heart rate monitor. I am hoping to find one that isn't too expensive. I am also wondering if the chest strap makes a big difference, if it does then I will spend extra for one with a chest strap. Anyone have any suggestions on a good quality inexpensive heart rate monitor?
