Eat junk food when upset over weight loss?
My roommate lost 12 pounds over a month and she doesn't exercise and eats the worst junk food imaginable. I kick my *kitten* at the gym five days a week and watch every thing I put in my mouth and I've barely lost 2 pounds in that same month. My response? Eat three cookies for breakfast this morning. How many calories should each workout burn?
I'm talking specifically about when I'm doing my cardio days. I usually stay on the treadmill/elliptical/stair machine until I've hit 400 calories lost but should I be staying on for more? I do calisthenics afterwards and some weights so it's not my whole workout but I'm wondering if I should be staying on the machines…

So frustrated.
Why is it that I count every calorie I put in my mouth and hit the gym almost daily and the scale barely moves and my roommate eats the worst junk food ever and does a workout video every now and then and LOSES WEIGHT? I'm losing my mind over here.

Calories in a banana...Y U NO THE SAME?
I eat bananas pretty regularly and I cannot seem to find anyone who agrees with how many calories are in them. On here there are several that range from 200 calories (Yikes!) to 90 calories. Calorie Count has them at 105 calories. What's the deal? Who do we listen to on fruit and vegetable calorie counts?
