Eat junk food when upset over weight loss?

My roommate lost 12 pounds over a month and she doesn't exercise and eats the worst junk food imaginable. I kick my *kitten* at the gym five days a week and watch every thing I put in my mouth and I've barely lost 2 pounds in that same month.

My response? Eat three cookies for breakfast this morning. Feel horrible immediately after.

Anyone else do this? How do you stop?

    Self control is a good place to start. Also, did you take measurements? Maybe you lost inches, not lbs...don't beat yourself up and compare yourself to other people. Everyone is different.

    She might be losing while eating junk food but she's not learning good eating habits that will sustain her for life like you are! Allow yourself those cookies, give yourself the room to sulk, then get back into it. 51 pds is a lot, and look at what you have learned about yourself and your body in the process.

    I do that too, sometimes. The key is sometimes and not alltimes. :)
