Alta HR + Ladies who Recomp
I recently got a Fitbit Alta HR and am letting it track my calories burned automatically, I don't log my workouts (weights 3/wk, cardio 2/wk) anymore so as to not mess with my net calories anymore than the FitBit already does. I use the premium feature so my burned calories don't affect my daily goals. I'm curious how…

Recompers question
Hello! I've been in maintenance about a year and spent most of it working so, so hard to eat enough protein and lift heavy and recomp. I think I was decently successful until a recent vacation sent me off the food tracking rails for about a month and I went right up to the top of my preferred range. Now, I'm trying to get…

Favorite fitness audio books?
I have a long commute and love audiobooks on Audible. What are your favorite fitness books you've listened to? I'm at my goal weight, but looking to improve strength and fine-tune nutrition, so I'm not looking for weight-loss books.

Heart rate monitor accuracy for the pregnant lady
Hello! I'm due April 25 and have been silent on MFP for much of my pregnancy (though I've been eating great and exercising regularly - just not tracking). I want to get back in the swing of things now, but have a question. I use my Polar F7 HRM to track calories burned. I know we have higher heart rates and so burn more…

NSV - a pricey one!
I just got back from taking half of my work clothes to the tailor. Nearly 40 pounds down from my heaviest and all my size 10 pants and dresses need to drop down to a 2 or 4! It felt great and I'm so excited to no longer look like a sloppy dresser at work. Buying all new clothes would be just too expensive.

1 year later - 30lbs down! (with pictures)
http://i1065.photobucket.com/albums/u397/dsm3407/beforeandafter.jpg Over the past year, I've finally started taking good care of myself. It started with getting back to the gym and buying a bike last summer. In January 2012, I found MFP and haven't looked back - I have tracked everything I've eaten since then (except for a…
