Did you ever notice?
People who get mad at other people for judging usually end up judging the person they're mad at, or judging others who comment on the topic? So much drama sometimes. I just think its funny to read how some stuff escalates into this big argument where everyone is throwing out stuff about not judging others, and then proceed…

Meat Loaf w/ veggies in it?
For those of you who have made meat loaf with veggies in it, what do you do? Do you just add the veggies to the meat loaf mix before baking? I tried looking it up and kept getting results for vegetarian meat loaf (which is not what I want...I still want the meat involved! lol). Thanks!

Brides in Arizona?
I just wanted to let anyone getting married know about a bridal expo on August 21st 2011. Its free to get in, and will have different vendors to look at. Plus most of them are having giveaways. Hopefully this isn't bad to post (figured chit chat would be the best place for it), but I like MFP so much, and figured there are…

"Comment here or be deleted"
If your one of your friends said "Comment here or be deleted"....would you comment? (I've seen posts like this, that says something like "cleaning out my friends list, if you don't want to be deleted comment here" etc) Just curious if you would comment or not? I think it almost feels like a dare. lol

30DShred - only do some, still effective?
I was recently doing Couch to 5 K and Jillian Michaels 30 Day shred at the same time, and I had to stop because of the pain in my knees. I kind of miss the feeling of lifting the weights & the AB exercise from Shred....but I'm still working on C25K. Do you think if I didn't do anything that involved a lot of leg bending…

Needs a reality check...any takers?
I have a tendency to make unrealistic goals...Can't help it...they just pop in my head and then stick! *sigh* So I'm at 235...one "goal" that decided to start bugging me was to be in the 220's (like 229) By July 26th. Possible? Then there is my Birthday...My birthday haunts me....as does my goal weight. When I first…

Cooking...its possible!
Okay, so I started in Oct. of 2010 on MFP...and I could not cook. I could burn water! lol But constantly eating out, or trying to buy microwavable meals just wasn't working out. Question for those who reached your goal?
Did you maintenance calories go up a lot? At my goal weight, MFP says my maintenance calories will be about 1700 (oh I can't wait for those extra...even if I'm still like a year away from that! lol). But I'm wondering if some of you got stuck at 1200 to maintain? Or if your actually able to eat more than what MFP…

Do you have a plan for not gaining after losing?
I'm sure most of us have a plan, but like do you have a certain amount of weight your willing to gain before you start trying to lose again (1lb...5lbs...10lbs) etc? Since weight fluctuates etc? I'm scared I'm still going to be jumpy over a 2lb water weight gain, and like chop my calories down every 5 seconds. Hoping I'm a…

How to Stop Binge Eating
Surfing the web to avoid heading to the nearest convenient store to buy 10 pints of ben and jerrys and eat myself into a coma, and I found this. It was a good read, so I thought I would share. The website has more pages too, I haven't read them, but I will. This is the link:…

Corn tortillas expiration date?
Do you think they are ok to eat after the expiration date? They smell, look ok. But I'm always weird about expiration dates. We just don't seem to eat them fast enough, and I always end up throwing away half the package. I swear they always expire like a week after we buy them. :grumble:

Does anyone wish they LOVED lettuce?
I was reading some weight loss articles/blogs etc online, and there was a few were the person ate a PLAIN salad everyday for 1 meal, usually dinner. Anyone use the steamer bags?
I've used the actual steamer vegetable bags/meals before, but they are so expensive (yet so convenient for quick veggies). So today I picked up the steamer baggies that you fill yourself then microwave. I though about cooking up some chicken in advance and then putting veggies and sliced up chicken in these bags (then…
