I think I'm doing it wrong. How do you know your in the same spot? I've read its supposed to be the largest area, but I mean, If I'm lower, higher even by a little bit it could show smaller or bigger.... So what does everyone else do?

Weight loss deficit, eating exercise calories, stavation mod
So, here is my problem, I keep seeing that you need a deficit of 3500 calories to lose 1lb. Which MFP has already done for me (decreasing me by 500 cal a day diet). But lets say I wanted to lose 2lbs per week. I'm already at 1500 cal, so from what I get I don't want to go below 1200 calories a day. So that would only give…

How do you record marinades?
I'm just curious how you would claim marinades, like in beef jerky for example. Something that measures calories burned via heart rate?
Does anyone have any recommendations for a gadget that would measure calories burned during activities like Zumba, Belly Dancing, Bike Riding, Skiing etc? I wanted a way to get a more accurate count of the calories I was burning than just an estimate from online tools (since some of them vary a bit).

Meals...into servings?
What I've been doing is entering everything I put into the meal (for the whole family) and then saving that meal. Then when I add it to my diary, putting in how many servings I had. So if it says 1 Meal (and the meal make 4 servings)...in my diary, I would put .25 of 1 meal. Am I doing this right? I usually cook to feed…
