Scale: friend or foe?
I find im stepping on ths scale several times through the day. A friend thinks its unhealthy, I use it as a motivator. If its up a bit I work harder. What are your thoughts?

anyone else hypo due to cancer?
I was diagnosed with Cancer in June 09 only 6 months after being medicated for severe PPD/anxiety. So I've had a very difficult few years. Just found out I'm cancer free in January so I'm finally able to deal with all the weight I've put on. Are there any other MFP members who are hypo due to cancer?

taking measurements
Ok, I'll admit I'm baffled by taking measurements and need some help.:blushing: When I began last week I took my measurements, but what am I supposed to measure? I measured my neck,arms, chest, waist hips and thighs. I constantly hear people saying how many inches they've lost. Is there a standard for figuring that out or…

emotional eating (comfort in food)
This is my biggest challenge. Today I was feeling under the weather and I ate things in knew I shouldn't. Wound up going 300 calories over my daily allowance. Am I alone in this it do others struggle with it. I'm looking for suggestions on how to avoid falling in to this pattern all the time.

Share your week one results
I'm just wrapping up my first week. Here are my results: down 8lbs and 5 inches, More importantly, I ate much better than normal being mindful of proper portions and ate breakfast every day (I normally skip it) walked on four days this past week for a total of 7 hours. Care to share your week one results?
