Yep. I'm in the same boat. Started when I was in treatment and it's continued even into remission. It's embarrassing but those close to me are very understanding of my circumstance yet virtual strangers will constantly offer "cures"!

The most I weighed was in January and I weighed 275 I lost 11lbs before finding MFP, and another 13 since then. my goal weight is 150 once I get there I'll decide if I'm good or need to go a bit more.

I'm on day 15 and I'm down 13 lbs. I think it's a great program. It's part of my weight loss triple threat. Vi, MFP and walking are proving VERY successful. If anyone needs a body by vi friend, feel free to add me! ETA: I drink 2 a day with milk and I use all kinds of ingredients to bring them between 300 - 400 calories…

That after having cancer for over 2.5 years I recently found out I'm in remission.

Agree with all of this. However I do track my sugars. It's red everyday and I find that hard to avoid. Thinking about removing it frankly.

I'm outside Toronto Canada, my family is from Coleraine. We celebrate by doing a dolly green themed breakfast but for dinner I make either Bubble and Squeak or colcannon and corned beef. I've been craving bubble and squeak so that's likely what we'll have tomorrow! Happy St. Paddy's Day everyone!

Oh, I'm so sorry. That must make things so hard. I told my friends in no uncertain terms: I need support. So your either going to be supportive, cheer me on or I'll have to take a break from people who couldn't do that. My friends have rallied around me, many have even offered to exercise/walk WITH me. My best friends all…

Wow, such varying responses! Thank you all! I truly think I didn't realize how big I was until the series of before photos. Front, back and side views. I've overcome a great deal.in the last few years (depression, anxiety and cancer) this is the last remaining health issue to deal with. The picture does motivate me and as…

Oh yes, I'm we'll on my way to being hyper. The end of 2011 had me hypo for 8 weeks to.do my wbs and bloodwork. Thyrogen was still in shortage so I had to suffer with being hypo. It was terrible. Packed on weight and lost a lit of hair again. But I'm finally starting to feel normal.

I had stage 2 papillary with follicular variant. By the time I was diagnosed there was already metastasis to the lymphnodes. I had a Total thyroidectomy first then I had a radical neck dissection removing 81 lymphnodes and inadvertently lost 3 out of 4 parathyroid. And went through RAI again before finally being cleared…
