Epidural Lumbar Injections
I go for my first injection on Friday. Anyone with experience have tips? I will go for two rounds. If they don't work, then I'm a surgical candidate for my L5 herniated disk.

NuVal System
Does anyone here have the NuVal system at their grocery stores? We don't have it here yet, but I've been looking into it. I've read a couple of blogs of people that have been using it and stand by it. But I've read some reviews that say it doesn't have real scientific backing. Anyone here use it? Thoughts? Experiences?

anti-inflammatory medications
I can't take pain killers or muscle relaxers. I can't take anything those things that will "impair my judgement." Does anyone have experience with anti-inflammatorys? Right now I'm just on Ib. Thanks!

Mind/Body Disconnect
For my whole life I feel like I have been at war with my body. Mostly dealing with my weight, but now also dealing with spine problems, and I'll throw the adult acne in there as well. I don't ever think of myself (body, mind, emotions) as a whole. Most of the time I'm just "living" in my mind. Does anyone relate to this.…

Where are you in your loss goal?
I'm in the first stages of my goal still. Been around coming up on two months now and I'm only about 5 pounds down. I know most people lose faster in the begining and then slow down. Guess thats not my route this time. Habits are getting harder to break the older I get. How about you?

I would like to make some connections with other women who are in thier 30s or 40s that have done this their whole lives! I have been 10-20 pounds overweight my whole life. I have seen the discussions about cheat days on the message boards and I haven't found them very helpful. So what is your experience with them? I am trying to talk myself out of cheat days.
