Hitting Practice?
I've been doing derby for about 8 months now. I'm struggling with "committing to the hit" or even landing a strong hit while scrimmaging. When we do drills I don't have much of an issue, but it's so different in game play. Are there any specific drills or cross training that will assist with this outside of practice time?…

Level 1 of 30 day shred complete! (Photos)
This is the first time in my life I've even begun to have some slight toning going on. I'm really happy with the results that have happened in just 10 days! (Wow, that sounded like a commercial.) If anyone else is doing 30DS or any of Jillian's work outs feel free to add. :) I could use some new MFP friends!

I am always on the go, with a few hours scattered in the week of free time that I clean and sometimes prepare food. Any roller derby girls out there?
I've been playing for 6 months and its changed my body completely. I was strictly a runner beforehand. I'm looking to get into better eating and exercise habits outside of practice and for the days I do not skate, so I was hoping for some insight there.
