Weight loss on Metformin?
I keep hearing a lot about weight loss on Metformin, my doctor started me on it and I'm starting week 3, today and I increase to 500mg twice a day. My weight has stayed the same while taking it so far, any thoughts on how long it may take to lose any weight? Are you following any kind of strict diet while taking it? Thanks!

How many calories do you consume daily?
I seem to be lost with the amt of calories I should be eating, My BMR is 1588 and TDEE is 2462, so if you eat TDEE - 20% does that mean I should be eating at least 1900 calories a day? I'm 5'1 and was wondering if anyone eats according to their TDEE? Thanks for the advice, I am so confused!

I'm curious as to what everyones meals/snacks are on a typical day, I've been eating a lot of eggs, tuna, tortillas etc, and needing some new ideas. Thanks for your input!

Muscle pain/weight gain
I know someone has posted something similair in the past but I can't find it, when you change up your workout and have sore muscles as a result, does it cause weight gain at first? How long does it take for your body to adjust to finally start losing?

Shoulder/Muscle pain...any tips to prevent?
I've been strength training for about 3mo now and thought my muscles were used to it. I did the biggest loser workout the other day and woke up the next day with severe shoulder/neck pain and can hardly move. Any ideas as to what may have happened or how to prevent it from happening again?

I'm reading a lot about Jillian Michaels 30 day shred, I'm interested in trying it. Does anyone have any input on it? Also, how many pounds are the hand weights you use?
