why do we base our caloric intake on a 24 hour period?
If I am supposed to eat 8,400 calories in a week does it matter in what form I get them? Some days, if I haven't really worked out I can't eat more than 1000 cals, but on the days I work out harder I tend to want to eat more say 1400-1500 cals. I tend to not be able to eat enough calories during the day, so I wake up hungry during the night. Is it okay to eat during the night then go back to sleep? Nothing big, like an apple or banana?
